【摘要】:1.1Thistestmethodcoversalaboratoryproceduretodeterminethehot-surfaceignitiontemperatureofdustlayers,thatis,measuringtheminimumtemperatureatwhichadustlayerwillself-heat.Thetestconsistsofadustlayerheatedonahotplate.1.2Dataobtainedfromthistestmethodprovidearelativemeasureofthehot-surfaceignitiontemperatureofadustlayer.1.3Thistestmethodshouldbeusedtomeasureanddescribethepropertiesofmaterialsinresponsetoheatandflameundercontrolledlaboratoryconditionsandshouldnotbeusedtodescribeorappraisethefirehazardorfirehazardriskofmaterials,products,orassembliesunderactualfireconditions.However,resultsofthistestmethodmaybeusedaselementsofafireriskassessmentthattakesintoaccountallofthefactorsthatarepertinenttoanassessmentofthefirehazardriskofaparticularenduseproduct.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecificprecautionarystatementsaregiveninSection8.
