【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversthephysicalrequirementsfortoolsusedtosqueeze-offpolyethylene(PE)pipeandtubing.Itislimitedtosqueeze-offproceduressetforthbythepipemanufacturerasreferredtoinSpecificationD2513forgaspressurepipesystems.1.2Nothinginthisspecificationshallbeconstruedasrecommendingpracticesorsystemsatvarianceswithgoverningcodesandprojectspecifications.1.3Whereapplicableinthisspecification,"pipe"shallmean"pipeandtubing,"and"tool"shallmean"squeeze-offtool."1.4Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.TheSIunitsgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thefollowingsafetyhazardscaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodsportions,Section5andAppendixX1ofthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
