【摘要】:Theproceduresinthistestmethodshouldbeusedforinvivoevaluationtheantimicrobialactivityofdrugproductsappliedtopicallytotheskinthatareintendedtohelppreventinfectioninminorcuts,scrapesandburns.5.1.1Thistestmethodisapplicablefortestingliquids,ointments,powders,films,ordressingcontainingorimpregnatedwithanantimicrobialfortheireffecttoreduceanenhancedskinmicrofloraortheireffectstosuppressthegrowthoftheskinflora,orboth.1.1Thetestsdescribedinthistestmethodaredesignedtoevaluateantimicrobialagentsinformulationsintendedforuseasfirstaidantisepticproductsfortheirabilitytoreduceorsuppressthegrowth,orboth,oftheskinmicroflora.1.2Aknowledgeofmicrobiologicaltechniquesisrequiredfortheseprocedures.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.1.4Performanceofthisprocedurerequirestheknowledgeofregulationspertainingtotheprotectionofhumansubjects.(SeeCFRParts50and56.)
